Matt has been playing since late 06, so I don't think its part of the dark knights, I saw them say that at the dean forum but its not.

If I remember right the DKMLF run was based on a USA ML that had abalone block inlays, and this one has dot inlays so I'd say yes, maybe it's unique .
abalone dot inlays, black headstock with white logo, I'd guess it was one of those limited '79 MLFs
However, an import with binding on the neck will have binding at the end of the fretboard, this is clearly a USA. It's a very common color and everything but I'm starting to think it might actually be unique. It could be a special TC though.

Yup....TC USA. Nothing special but the Black Hardware! TC's come standard with Abalone dots.
