I would think after reading Deans comments on these forums that he isn't very concerned anymore . Just look at his phrase " Its a new day". I think Dean being in control of DBZ is letting him be himself, and we as customers will benifit. Just think, this is only year 1 of this company and look at what we have seen already. No a** kissing intended, just what I gathered.

Key people Elliott Rubinson - CEO

What's more to say?

It's indeed a damn shame...

But hey, the way Deanguitars is headed...

Oh well, stuff like this won't happen to DBZ as long as Dean is in control.

Dean isn't in for the money!
And as soon as money gets involved into anything, things change;.. mostly in a bad way! verymad.gif

EDIT:

After nearly ten years of production, the previous owner decided that he no longer wanted to manufacture guitars and sold the company. Oscar Medeiros had ownership of the brand name and trademark until the mid 90s. The guitars Medeiros created under the Dean name were also considered quality instruments.

Medeiros stopped manufacturing Dean Guitars in the mid 1990s or so when Armadillo Enterprises purchased the company and began making them. New owner Elliott Rubinson was credited with resurrecting a left-for-dead Dean Guitars in 1997. [4]Production of the uniquely shaped Dean electric guitars and other musical instruments accounts for the majority of Armadillo's sales each year[5] .

Good god that's horrible. It was obviously written by the current Dean Guitars marketing team.

5x Megadeth
4x Dave Mustaine
2x Elliott Rubinson
0x Dean or Zelinsky...

30 Years of dedication and this is what Dean gets?!

EDIT: litte addition:

The wiki refering to DBZ contains 4 times Dean's name (as in the person)...

And I think I found something usefull here:
"Regarding Dean Guitars, Zelinsky says, “I can no longer attach my name to the reputation, quality and direction of Dean Guitars or its current objectives.”"

Yeah, but as I've put in the edit:
Regarding Dean Guitars, Zelinsky says, ?????I can no longer attach my name to the reputation, quality and direction of Dean Guitars or its current objectives.?????
So it's probably Dean who "erased" his name from "history" to call it like that.

Wikipedia BC Rich guitars and you will see how many times the name Bernie Rico (original creator) is mentioned. Many times because its just not right to try to white out the creator's name...

Basically its a statement that can be true or untrue that hurts the reputation of whoever it is being said about. I was saying it because I added a controversy section to the wiki page for dean guitars tongue.gif

Hehe, good one.

Now don't blame me for saying this, but I think there are a couple of mistakes:
Recently Dean guitars has come under fire by many musicians for its poor quality control and the growing distaste for Dean guitars apparent exploitation of the death of slain heavy metal guitarist Darrell "Dime Bag" Abbott. The company creating numerous guitars baring the name of Darrell Abbott but few being actually used or endorsed by Abbott while alive. It has been theorized by multiple sources that these were some of the reasons the founder Dean B. Zelinsky cut ties with his former company in 2008.
"Death of slain..." is a pleonasm if you ask me thumbsup.gif
and "baring" should be "bearing", if I think I'm right >.<
(not to be a bitch, but I've read some discussions on wikipedia... damn, they whine about EVERYTHING

..and the people have spoken. I wonder what the motive is at dean guitars for removing dean z from these pages? I mean, you can't re-write history. What gives?
