Funny, today in the store I had a customer who asked me something about electric heaters.
He stood near the cheapest heater, we talked a bit about it, and he wanted to have discount. Lucky for him, it was a 20€ discount that week for that model (99€ to go).
So he bought the small thing, asked me to take it to his car (which I did ofcourse), and there we stood: me in my blue storeshirt with the heater and he in his fancy/expensive costume standing near his Jaguar...

God, what's up with rich people being so... cheap while "poor" people can be so generous...

Well I guess to get rich you have to be fairly stingy on the cash, thats probably how most of them made it.. A lot of other could have beens would choose to look after those around them and maintain good friendships as opposed to lots of cash..

You got indeed rich peeps who are cheap in that way.
But if you dress fancy and drive a Jag, I don't think you did it that way, but by working hard etc.

Anyways, certain things in life are quite strange...

Oh certainly they would all be hard workers, the businessmen at least.. Thats kinda what i meant before, they work TOO hard. Pushing away things that are more important to do that extra work.

There are a lot of contradictions in life though I guess.

Persecution
And some people work harder than the rich and they are poor. That's some more Irony for this thread, lol

*feels bad for being a 'paid volunteer'*

Did it ever cross your mind that he might not have needed an expensive heater though? Or maybe he's rich because he transforms cheap heaters into expensive ones and then sells the expensive heaters and makes a massive profit (I joke of course, the rich people are usually the stinges - like when I do charity bag-packing the ones who buy loads of expensive goods scrimp on giving money...)

I love over-analyzing these situations

The thing is, that heater was fugly, it was a white cube with "wood" in it.
The somewhat more expensive models looked a lot better and more realistic to a real fireplace...

Oh well, money and style aren't always coupled I guess wink.gif (while it does with DBZ verymad.gif )
