Full Version: My Causes

It is my dream to see one of my greatest visions accomplished. In my family there is a great history of Autism and Neurofibromatosis, including my mother and 3 younger brothers whom I have looked after and protected for as long as I can remember. My vision is to use my greatest passion, music, to start my own personal fundraiser for Autism Awareness and the Childrens Tumor Foundation. On tour I plan to take donations and half of everything I personally make on tour will go to these causes. I am currently contacting both organizations to make this all possible. If there is anything at all that anyone can do to make this vision come true I would greatly appreciate it. Also I am in the process of recording videos for my youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/RyrY2938#p/c/118982FDD5ECDCCE to help spread word about my cause.

Thank you for reading,

RyrY

This sounds like a fantastic aspiration my friend, all the best with everything! In both causes, the message does need to get out, and what better way to do it than the one thing that everybody on this forum loves, music. I am all up for helping you promote your cause, once you have gotten some music recorded etc and put it on youtube, your welcome to do a colab video with me and I will promote your music and your cause to my subscribers and friends etc (if I just post a video saying "check this guy out" its unlikely it will get much attention). Let me know how everything goes man thumbsup.gif im all up for helping charities.

Thanks man, after I get my first vids uploaded I'd be more than happy to do a colab.

That's a really good thing you're doing man biggrin.gif

I know the problems autism brings along, our neighbour's oldest son (11'ish) is also autistic, and they say it's giving them a hard time.

I'm with you man, I'm with you all the way!

Maybe theres a way we could dovetail the forum jam in with this?
RyRy
Thanks guys, putting something in the forum jam would be awesome too happy.gif . Youtube's giving me some problems though..it's taking more than an hour to upload videos...anyone have any suggestions?

Youtube is VERY misleading, your video might actually be up. When I upload a video it says its uploaded within 5 seconds, when actually, it takes an hour to get it up. Just check if your video is actually up.

And John has a good point, maybe we could link the forum jam somehow, but the question is, how lol? Usually with serious causes, some soft mellow music fits best, but we are going to be shredding like crazy XD

Unless we do another forum jam later in the year on a softer theme, thus giving Ryry the time to get his stuff underway and what not?

Okay.
